Returns & Withdrawal
Last updated: February 2026We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the Italian Consumer Code, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase and return products under the conditions described below.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days from the date you (or a person you designate) receive the goods, without providing any reason.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision by sending a clear statement to info@francescacottone.it within the 14-day period. Your email should include your order number, full name, and the product(s) you wish to return.
Return conditions
To be eligible for a refund, the returned product must meet all of the following conditions:
Intact and unused — The item must be in its original condition, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and free from any damage, stains, odors, or signs of use.
Original packaging — The item must be returned in its original packaging, including all tags, labels, and protective materials.
Complete — All accessories, extras, or gifts included with the original order must be returned together with the product.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the product shows any signs of use, damage, alteration, or if it is returned without its original packaging. Products that are returned in a condition that diminishes their value — whether due to handling by the customer or damage incurred during return shipping — will not be eligible for a refund.
Return shipping
The cost of return shipping is entirely at the customer's expense. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit. Please ensure the item is carefully and securely packaged to prevent any damage.

Return process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
Step 1 — Send an email to info@francescacottone.it within 14 days of receiving your order, stating your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
Step 2 — We will confirm your return request and provide any additional instructions if necessary.
Step 3 — Ship the item(s) back to us at your own expense, using a tracked and insured service.
Step 4 — Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will notify you of the outcome within 5 business days.
Refund
If the return is approved, a full refund of the product price will be issued within 14 days from the date we receive the returned item. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
Please note:
Original shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item sent by us.
Return shipping costs are always at the customer's expense and are non-refundable.
Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
Defective or incorrect items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us at info@francescacottone.it within 48 hours of delivery, including photographs of the product and packaging. In such cases, we will cover the return shipping costs and offer a full refund or replacement at your choice.
Exceptions
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged: products that have been personalized or made to order, items marked as final sale, and products that have been altered or damaged by the customer after delivery.
